-
How is the pool maintained?
A: Our pool is maintained according to USA Swimming water quality standards for safety and sanitation. The water is tested multiple times per week to ensure proper chlorine levels, balanced pH, and clarity. We use high-quality filtration and routine brushing to keep the pool clean and swimmer-ready. Your child’s health and safety is a top priority—our goal is a clean, comfortable environment every time they swim.
-
What happens if there’s a fecal or vomit incident in the pool?
A: In the event of a fecal or vomit accident, we follow CDC and USA Swimming guidelines for disinfection. Classes are paused or rescheduled as needed to ensure the pool is properly treated and safe for swimmers. The area is sanitized and chlorine levels are adjusted according to the type of incident (solid vs. diarrhea) before reopening. Your child’s health and safety are always our top priority.
-
What if my child is scared or cries?
A: It’s normal! We offer a gentle, supportive approach and use proven techniques to help your child feel safe and build confidence over time.
-
What’s that nice aromatic smell near the pool?
A: We use therapeutic-grade dōTERRA essential oils in sprays and diffusers to help kids (and parents) relax and enjoy the experience.
-
Do you sell any wellness products?
A: Yes! We offer after-sun sprays, chlorine-neutralizing sprays, and calming rollers—made with clean, natural ingredients. Ask about our wellness bundles. Every client is eligible for a FREE dōTERRA account and will get a free spray from Coach Jenny when they sign up.
-
Do parents get in the water?
A: Only in Parent-Tot classes (ages 6 months–2.5 years). In all other lessons, parents watch from a designated shaded area nearby.
-
Can I bring siblings?
A: Yes, but please keep siblings supervised at all times. They yard is not completely “child proof.” The kids may play in the yard or on the slide. I have had some parents bring their portable play pens so they can watch the lessons or be in the water with another child.
